It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip Henry Roach of Halifax, Nova Scotia, born in New Waterford, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 2, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Francis Roach and Andrea Patricia 'Pat Roach; his sister-in-law June Roach; and his nieces, Caitlyn Roach and Sarah Mather.

He is survived by: his wife Patti MacKinnon; his children, Mattea, Eamon, Cullen and Lachlan; his pet Ila; his siblings, Kathleen, Greg (Nancy) and Tom (Amy Bennet); his parents-in-law, Patsy and Rollie MacKinnon; and his brothers-in-law, Perry (Marilyn) and Howard (Kathy).

Donations in Phil's honor can be directed to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
