She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Gibbons and Alice Gibbons (Ritchie); her husband Kenneth Herman; her siblings, Doris Kennedy and Douglas Gibbons; and her granddaughter Jennifer Butts.

She is survived by: her children, Christine Rainnie (Michael), Randall (Jennifer), Vicki Flynn (Leo) of Souris West, PEI and Susan Butts (Bill); her sister Patricia Black; her sons, David and Darren; her sister-in-law Marian Burke; her grandchildren, Michael Butts (Brittany), Katie (Riley Flynn), Gavin Rainnie and Kai (Isla Herman); and her niece Gail Lambert.
