She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Permanand Dewan and Mahnorama Devi Dewan; her husband Goverdhan Talwar; her children, Madhu (Mehta), Karan, Indu, Aran and Rohit; her children-in-law, Triloki Nath Mehta, Ellen (Egan), Gagan (Sehgal), Renuka (Rai) and Carol (Miller); her siblings, Ramesh Kapoor, Yogesh Kapoor, Vimal Kapoor, Shanti Devi Vig (Talwar), Nand Kishore Talwar and Mangal Talwar; her siblings' children, Anita Mehta, Anju Mehta (Kukreja), Arun Mehta, Nathan Talwar, Chandni Sehgal, Kyle Talwar, Rhea Talwar, Colin Talwar, Meghan Talwar and Ajay Kukreja; and her great grandchildren, Kabir and Kaavya Kukreja. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
