He was predeceased by: his parents, Om Parkash and Kailash Vati Sood; his siblings, Captain Satish Sood (Urmil), Ashok Sood (Sunitha) and Parveen Sood (Bhupinder); and his nephew Vinay Sood.
He is survived by: his wife Kusum Sood; his children, Shivani Sood (Adam) and Vishal Sood (Emilee); his siblings, Asha Gopal (Sarav) and Vinod Sood (Indu); his sibling Urmil; Satish. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
