He was predeceased by: his parents, Engelbert Schumacher and Gretchen Schumacher; and his siblings-in-law, David Hammond and Dianne Goguen. He is survived by: his wife Anne Schumacher (Hammond); his children, Michael Schumacher (Christine) and Christa Kuciapski (Andre); his grandchildren, Rachel, Lauren Schumacher, Brandon and Sean Kuciapski; his sister Margit Skoracki (Rainer); and his siblings-in-law, Kevin Hammond (Dorothy), Bob Goguen and Patricia Hammond-Dwyer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
