He was predeceased by: his father Leroy Hurst; his brother Maynard Downey (Hilton); his uncle Lester Downey (Lefty); his aunts, Quincie Downey and Yvonne Downey; and his cousins, Cleo Downey (Tiny), Racine Downey, Andre Paquet, Damien Taylor (Tuffy), Lashonda Belanger-Taylor, Samantha Downey (Joy) and Bo.
He is survived by: his mother Loffie Downey; his niece Megan McKinnon; his aunts and uncles, Dolly Downey-Simmonds (late Don), Ezonia Downey (Charles), Betty Paquet (Joseph), Fulton Downey (Sandra), Basol Downey (late Epherin) and Jeff Downey (Nadine); and also, Darlene Rowe and Bo Diddley.
