It is with sadness that the passing of Raymond Montague Shave (Halifax, Nova Scotia) is shared. Raymond, born on January 10, 1927, passed away on August 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Belle (Moulton) and Raymond Shave; his wife Gloria (Wegener); his close friend Susan Bolton; his siblings, Paul, Harvey (Eloise) and Greta; his aunt Adelia "Kiddie" Paul (Moulton); and his stepmother Mary Shave (Appleby).
He is survived by: his daughter Heather; his son-in-law John Fitzpatrick; his grandchildren, Laura (Louis Westergard), Jennifer and Andrew (Emma Hackett); his great grandchildren, Sophia and Oliver Westergard; his siblings, Sterling (Mildred), Donna (Roland Lanctot) and Eloise (Lyndon); his sisters-in-law, Belle Shave and Joy Dodge; his nephew Randal Shave (Wanda); and his cousin Carol (Syberg). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bethany United Church (7171 Clinton Avenue, Halifax, NS B3L3Y8).
