She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Newhook and Gladys Newhook; her daughters, Anita Russell and Rosalie Boivin; her son-in-law Claude Boivin; her grandson Paul Boivin; and her siblings, Russell Newhook, Mary Wilbur, Mamie Higgins and Donna.

She is survived by: her daughter Cathy Russell; her stepchildren, Selina Redden (Stephen), Valerie Kennedy (James), Roland Russell (Ruth) and James Russell (Marilyn); her grandchildren, Donald Boivin, Monika Boivin of Dartmouth, Klisowsky, Culburra Beach Australia and Michael Klisowsky; her stepgrandchildren, Trudy, Jeremy, Lisa, Victoria and Matthew; her great grandchildren, Bryson, Jet, Violet and Paisley; her siblings, Eric Newhook (Doreen), Cecil Newhook (Phyllis), Upper Musquodoboit, Gladys Dobson (John) and Linda Hunt; and her sister-in-law Sylvia Newhook. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
