He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Pemberton and Dorothy Pemberton (Jones); his sisters, Georgina and Anita; and his half-brothers, Delbert and Arthur.

He is survived by: his son Jesse; his granddaughter Freya; his siblings, Marjorie Pemberton, Elta Courtemanche (Harvé), Monson Pemberton (Eleanor), Dorothy Beazley (Harry) and Leona Lorman; and his half-sister Bonita. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
