Richard Goldbloom Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2021, at the age of 96, Richard Goldbloom (Halifax, Nova Scotia), born in Montréal, Québec passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Goldbloom to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Goldbloom and Annie Goldbloom (Ballon); his wife Ruth (Schwartz); his brother Victor; his mother-in-law Rose Schwartz; and his siblings-in-law, Edna Schwartz, Joseph, Irving, Harold and Bram Schwartz.

He is survived by: his children, Alan (Lynn), Barbara (Tony Hughes) and David (Nancy Epstein); his grandchildren, Michael (Kelly Ludgate), Kate (Michael Bozek), Ellen (Joshua Kardish), Amy (David Frenkel), Stephen (Jenny Maryasis), Daniel (Jessica Duffin Wolfe) and Will (Zachary Russell); his great grandchildren, Sam, Ben, Parker, Jack, Cole, Wolf, Lucas, Rachel, Lia, Kensington and Maya; and his sisters-in-law, Diane, Diana, Inez Schwartz and Sheila Goldbloom. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Atlantic will be private at Shaar Shalom Synagogue, but will be available via livestream at https://funeraweb.tv. In view of the pandemic, no shiva will be held.
