He was predeceased by : his parents, John Augustus and Marion Burns; his brother George Burns; and his brother-in-law Ralph Pickrem. He is survived by : his wife Patricia; his daughter Nicole Marryatt (Kyle); and his siblings, Ronnie Burns (Pam), Pat Burns (Vesna), Hazel Hector (Ronnie), Maggie Knox (Robert), Karen Stillman (Howie), Brenda Johnston (Wade), Maureen Pickrem and Kathy Hazel (John). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
