She was predeceased by: her husband John; her son-in-law John Clarke; and her siblings, Geraldine, Genesta, Albert, Len and Bud.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Clarke and David (Marcia); her siblings, Margie Bray and Jim (Pearlie); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Flemming and Betty Rhynold. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
Donations in memory of Rita may be made to St. Martha's Palliative Care Unit or Star of the Sea Cemetery Fund, Canso.
