He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Bottomley and Constance Fader (Connie); and his brothers, Wayne and Keith (Cindi). He is survived by: his wife May (Melanson); his daughter Roberta McLean (Ken); his granddaughter Taylor; his stepdaughter Yvonne Hemphill (Al); his stepgrandson Dave Sears; his brother Jim Bottomley (Cheryl); and his caregivers, Krista Smith and Clare Belliveau. He is also survived by many sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
