He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell A Steeves and Margaret Steeves (Paul); and his siblings, John "Jack" and Verna. He is survived by: his significant other Gudny "Myrna" (Hoosha); his children, Debbie Eddy (Dan) and Bob Steeves; his grandchildren, Cassandra Bohan (Brad), Brad Eddy, Ryan Steeves and Alexis Steeves; and his sister Muriel "Babe". He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
As expressions of sympathy, Don requested any donations be made in his honour to the Canadian Cancer Society.
