He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sumarah and Sadie Sumarah; and his siblings, George, Henry, Michael, Charles, William Jr., Frank Sumarah, Flora Sumarah, Dorothy Antal, Nellie Sumarah, Helen Gagnon and Mary Sumarah.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline; his children, David Sumarah (Shannon) and Lisa Sumarah; his grandsons, Justin and Gavin Sumarah; and his brothers, Albert Sumarah (Dorothy) and Robert Sumarah. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Snow's Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM.
