She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha Emma (Babin) and Melbourne Bourque; her husband Henry Hanga; and her siblings, Rachael (Cottreau), Jeanette Bourque, Zita Chapman and Bruno Bourque (Sluice Point).
She is survived by: her sister Viola O'Connor (John) of Halifax. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
