He was predeceased by: his parents, Gretchen Young (Mosher) and Percy Young; and his wife Francis Greene. He is survived by: his daughter Carole Coates (Jeff); his grandchildren, Catherine Dennison (Bryce) and Andrew Coates (Zuleika Chan); his great grandchild Caspian Dennison; and his half-sister Grace Duncan.
