Rose Lenoir Grant Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2019, at the age of 89, Rose Lenoir Grant (Halifax, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Carvery and Rosella Carvery (Sparks); her husband George Grant Sr.; her daughter Rosemarie Grant-Barnes; her granddaughter SaraRose Grant-Barnes; and her siblings, Grace Byers, Edward Carvery and Earle Carvery.

She is survived by: her children, George Jr. Grant (Winnie), Lyle Grant (Shauna), Warren Grant (Monica), Dean Carvery-Grant (Debbie), Kevin Brooks (Chantal), Paula Smith (Rick) and Charlene McNeil (Jim); her son-in-law Ronnie Barnes; and her siblings, Evelyn Lawrence (Raymond), Marie Sorrells (Andrew), Lorraine Steward, Carol Toussaint and Percy Carvery. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
