It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Russell Howe of Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 31, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Sinclair Howe Sr. and Lucinda Pearl Howe (Brown); his siblings, Geraldine Howe-Parker, Thomas, Mitchell, Garnett and Ronald Jr.; and his pet Rubin.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to The Northwood Center.

“In loving memory of Russel (Brucey) Howe , genius a self-taught sound master moreover designed and build amplifiers and giant stereo speakers that could rock a concert. And explain the how why, and what constitutes excellent sound balance. Rubin and myself would dance, sing and jam with all the Motown giants. And having a piano on site enhanced it all. The Howe family was my second family and I sincerely send my condolences to each everyone.”
