We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Ruth Emily Cairns (Halifax, Nova Scotia), born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Amirault and Elsie Amirault (DeViller); her former husband Stan; and her siblings, Phyllis Amirault and Robert Amirault.
She is survived by: her husband Stanley; her sons, Martin Cairns (Diane), Paul Cairns, Chris Cairns (Christine) and Mitchell Cairns; her granddaughters, Emily Cairns (Ben), Kathleen Cairns and Kit Cairns (Laura); and her sisters, Merriam Sullivan (Hubert), Ethel Cottreau (Robert) and Patricia Paul (Clyde). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Brain Injury Association of Nova Scotia, or charity of choice in memory of Ruth.
