She was predeceased by: her parents, Augustus Pike and Hilda Pike. She is survived by: her significant other Gerald Butler (Gerry); her children, Pamela Collier (Chris) and Paul Butler (Molly); her granddaughters, Malorie Stoddard (Adam) and Melissa MacPhail (Ian); her great grandchildren, Peyton and Carlee; and her siblings, Richard Pike (Elizabeth), Robert Pike (Olivia) and Lorna Clouter (Fraser). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth's memory will be gratefully accepted by the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Rockingham United Church, or a charity of your choice.
