She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Whidden and Myra Whidden (Ferguson); her siblings, Jean Foster, Dorothy Campbell, Ross Whidden, Gordon Whidden, Norma Boksman, Guy Whidden and Laurie Whidden; and her husband Harold.

She is survived by: her children, Rick Todd, Paula Barrett (Doug), Sandra Nugent (Ron) and Colin Todd (Jennifer); and her grandchildren, Patrick Todd, Adam Nugent (Kattina), Julia and Benjamin Jarmuszewski. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hope United Church (3055 Connaught Ave, Halifax, NS B3L3A7). A reception was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Canada, Atlantic Chapter.
