With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Etta Koutsourakis (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on July 19, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Blanche Scopelites and Anastasios Scopelites; her husband Nicholas Koutsourakis; her son John Koutsourakis; and her siblings, Marjorie Jonah, Bill Schofield and James Schofield.

She is survived by: her daughters, Anastasia Koutsourakis and Despina Blentzas (George); her grandchildren, Seraphim Blentzas, Elijah Koutsourakis (Kim) and Andreane Fatouros (Stephen); her great grandchildren, Foti Fatouros, Bohdi Koutsourakis, Constandina Fatouros and Shiloh Koutsourakis; and her siblings, John Schofield (Irene), Stephen Schofield (Sharon), George Schofield, Helen Makridis and Marina Sarlanis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
