She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Jackson; and her daughter Rhonda. She is survived by: her siblings, Anna, Georgia, Vivian, Bud, Mervyn and Guy; her son Arthur Grand Desert (Carol); her grandchildren, Robert Musquobobit Harbour (Cathy), Annabelle, Vivian, Victoria, Brian Lr (Jen) and Claire; her daughter Susan Conroy Kanata On (Neil); her grandson Chad Osgoode On (Liz); her great grandchildren, Quinn and Josh (Camsell); her granddaughter Andrea Kampala Uganda (Justin Cresser); and her great grandchildren, Maya and Imani.
Due to COVID-19 there will be no service at this time, but a celebration of her life will be held in the future.
In lieu of flowers donations to Feed Nova Scotia or Souls harbour would be appreciated they were two of her favourite charities.
