He was predeceased by: his parents, Gable Clayton and Jane Clayton (Smith); his son Lucas; his grandparents, Francis, Ida Downey, Amos and Christian Clayton; his great-grandparents, Cecil and Rodella Downey; and his godmother Myrtle Downey.
He is survived by: his son Chanton "Orko" Smith; his siblings, Elizabeth of Dartmouth, Renay of Dartmouth, Clara-Ann of Dartmouth, Bernadette of Dartmouth, Stephanie, Ringo Toronto (Nicole), Carl, Floyd, Wade (Cathy), Conrad Downey and David Downey; and his goddaughter LaToya Downey. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
