Sherri Susan Slate Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherri Susan Slate (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 4, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Sherri Susan may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her mother Lynnette Rhyno. She is survived by: her husband Ernie; her sons, Alex and Nick; her father Gordon Jenkins; and her siblings, Karen Rhyno (Michael), Duane Rhyno and Willy Rhyno (Lisa). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Social Club (6299 South St, Halifax, NS B3H4J1).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice in Sherri's memory.
