It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Clara Leslie (Halifax, Nova Scotia), born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 2, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George William Mercer and Annie Isabel Oake of Change Islands, NL.; her former spouse Creighton Roy; her grandmother Shirley; her daughter Janice (David Fralic); her grandsons, Jesse (Carolyn Curry) and Neil; her son Paul (Paula MacInnis); her grandson Michael (Angela); her great grandchildren, Kara of Cailie, Caitlin (Jason Regan) and Avon; her stepson Barry Leslie (Celeste Pray); her grandson Braham; her great grandchildren, Leo and Clay; her granddaughter Alicia (Alain Belliveau); her great grandchild Charlotte Denise; her stepson Danny Leslie (Kathy Clark); her grandchildren, Christopher (Dezirah), Nick (Danielle) and Ashleen (Chris Faller); her great grandchildren, Jocelyn and Lara; her stepson Peter Leslie (Rick Conrad); her husband Clayton Leslie; her son Graeme Creighton Brown; her sister Leonora Mae (Mercer); and her former husband Creighton Brown. She was also cherished by Friends and family were important to Mom.
