She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Heisler and Lillian Heisler. She is survived by: her son Trevor Poole; her granddaughter Hailey Poole; and her brother Franklin Heisler.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the City Church (276 Herring Cove Rd, Halifax, NS B3P1M1).
In lieu of flowers Shirley's family asks that donations in Shirley's memory be made to City Church Halifax.
