She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel McNeil and Duncan McNeil; her husband Joseph Vincent Carpenter; her siblings, Jack, Allan McNeil and Jean; and her daughter-in-law Susie Carpenter.
She is survived by: her children, Greg (Susie), Cathy Boyle (Russ), Carol Taggart (Ken), Joey, Michael, Jeff (Suzanne) and David (Ruth).
Funeral arrangements will be announced later, after Covid restrictions are lifted and we can safely gather to celebrate Shirley's life.
