He was predeceased by: his parents, David Outhouse and Beulah Outhouse (Bower). He is survived by: his wife Judith (Welch); his children, Ian Bower (Kelly), Jacqueline Funder (Robert) and Aaron Bower (Keri); his grandchildren, Brianne, Norah, Nicolas, Owen and Joshua; and his siblings, Tony Bower (Doreen), Roger Outhouse (Dorothy) and Helen Ivens (John). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces / great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. A. Snow Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Craig's Cause Pancreatic Cancer Society or the Atlantic Salmon Federation.
