It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susan Kathleen Whalen of Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 26, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Currie and Gwendolyn Currie; her husband Ken; her aunt Marjorie Robinson (Les); and her sister Sonia.

She is survived by: her children, Kendra Oliver (Stephen) and Dustin (Sheila Hynes); her grandchildren, Victoria, Stephen, Elizabeth, Denver and Charlie; and her sons, An Ngyuen and Joseph Nyemah. She is also survived by brothers and sisters-in law and many nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid restrictions, the service will be by invitation only.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
