He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Hackett and Rosalie Hackett; his mother-in-law Cora Williams; and his daughter Dawn Coles. He is survived by: his wife Heather; his children, Carnita (Franklin), Ruthanne, Larry (Kathy) and Lela; his grandchildren, Josha, Shane, Iesha, Leah, Alex, Cortez, Nigel and Lyndell; his siblings, Wynette, Janet, Lynette and George of England; and his parents-in-law, Coralee (Al) of Ontario, Charlotte of Ontario, Jocelyn of Ontario and Dean (Margo) of Halifax. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
