He was predeceased by: his parents, Garfield Grandy and Sylvia Ann Grandy. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ethel (Meisner); his children, Kathy (Sylvain), Susan and David (Charleen); his grandchildren, Kassandra (Carine), Jordyn and Dawson; his great grandchild Xavier; and his siblings, Eldon and Elaine.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cruikshank's Halifax Funeral Home (2666 Windsor St, Halifax, NS B3K5C9).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Stroke Foundation or Saint Vincent's Nursing Home Foundation.
