She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyril Preece and Lorraine Preece; and her brother Johnny Preece. She is survived by: her husband Dick Sayer; her daughter Karen; and her siblings, David (Darlene), Lorraine (Pepper) and Dawn (Larry).
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Snow's Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Stephen's Church (6032 Normandy Dr, Halifax, NS B3K2S9).
