He was predeceased by: his parents, Angus Spence and Florence Spence; his brother Trent Spence; and his brother-in-law Peter Hinch. He is survived by: his daughter Kathleen Ann Douglas (Murray); his grandchildren, James and Eilidh; and his siblings, Sandra Smith (Douglas), Rose Anderson (John), Debbie Hinch, Tylynn Spence (Dawn) and Todd Spence.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. A. Snow Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to QEII Foundation Palliative Care or a charity of your choice.
