She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Beals and Cyril Middleton; her siblings, Diane Cromwell, Nina Masterson, Emerson Cromwell, Hantford Cromwell and Gerald Cromwell; and her grandson Lorenzo Fletcher.

She is survived by: her close friends, Connie McClean and Vivian Wilson; her niece Lenora Beals; her children, Gloria, Johnny, Helen, Elsworth, Theresa, Kathleen and Lisa; her siblings, Greta Hamilton, Joanne Hamilton, Ketah Cavanaugh, Sherman Cromwell and James Stevenson; and her grandchildren, Mantell, Clinceecia, Keggan, Patricia, Rakisha, Randell, Leeate, Raychell, Ryco, Jada, Vateema, Marquis, Terrico, Chevez, Marchello, Trenita, Jennika, Jeffrey and Latoya. She is also survived by 34 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
