She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Lawson Smith and Caroline Isadore Hartlen; her husband Arthur William Cooper; her son Timothy Douglas Cooper; her granddaughter Melissa Ann Paul; her son-in-law Bill Norman; and her siblings, Alvina (John Musolino), Marian (Leon Hemeon), Shirley (Burns Buchanan), Estelle (Allen Rogers), Ina (Ronald Gray) and Douglas Lawson Smith Jr. (Carrie Paige).
She is survived by: her sister Roxana (Bernard Chaddock); her children, Christine (Bill Norman), Brenda (Sylvester Paul), William (Loretta Jesso), John (Judy Slaunwhite), Eric (Chauntel MacIntyre) and Scott (Kelly Boudreau); and her pets, Lyla and Lenny. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
