She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley and Mildred Hancock (Leary); her husband Dr. George F. Ibsen; and her siblings, Robie, Harold, Earl, Albert, Eddy, Elva, Anna, Nellie and Marie.
She is survived by: her children, Darren (Janet) of Halifax and Lisa (Bruce Caddell) of Dartmouth; and her grandchildren, Taylor, Sara, Madison, Jack and Nick. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
