It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Elroy Clarke of Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 17, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Clark and Emma Clark; his brothers, Irving and Alfred; and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth and Ola.

He is survived by: his wife Madeline; his sons, Gregory (Pauline) of Port Williams, Stephen (Mary) of Quispamsis and Jeffrey (Candas) of Mineville; his grandchildren, Emma (Tyler), Amy, Richard (Megan), Andrew (Britteny), Christin (Edmund), Brandon (Kelsey) and Amanda (Alex); his great grandchildren, Beauden, Xavier, Everette, Neve, Sadie and Jack; his sister Jean (Ron); and his sisters-in-law, Louise, Jackie, Barb and Sylvia (Ron). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
