We bid farewell to Vincent John LaVigna Jr. in Halifax, Nova Scotia, born in Troy, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 4, 2025 at the age of 80. Vincent John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Vincent John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Vincent John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, Michele, Michael and Matthew; his grandchildren, Brooke and Vincent; his brother Teddy; and his cousin Dr. Joseph Zurlo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church (4675 Clyde Morris Blvd, Port Orange, FL 32129). The military honours will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at the same location.
