Violette Salloum Karaan Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violette Salloum Karaan (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on April 16, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Salim Salloum and Laurice Salloum; her husband George Karaan; and her son Abraham Karaan (Bobby). She is survived by: her sons, Tarek Karaan, Joseph Karaan (Mireille) and Walid Karaan; her grandchildren, Abraham (Bobby), Nicolas and Gianna; and her siblings, Abraham Salloum (Marie), Mary Laba (late Halim Laba), Antoine Salloum (Claudia), Eva Sayde (George) and Hala Nahas (Elias). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
