He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrey Salnikov and Irina Salnikov; and his sister Anna. He is survived by: his wife Lioudmila "Mila"; his children, Anton (Dorothy) and Elena Bridan (Vladimir); his grandchildren, Andrew, Elizabeth, Nikita and Ilya; and also Deda.
