He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Weeks and Florence Weeks (Barrett); and his brothers, Thomas and Gordon. He is also survived by niece, nephews, and cousins.
The Atlantic Printing Association honoured him in 2007 with the first Award in Excellence ever given out, for his outstanding contributions to the industry as both a leader and mentor.
