He is survived by: his wife Beth Hawes; his children, Tammy Hawes (Jeff Bruce) and William Hawes Jr. (Taylor MacDonald) of Halifax; his siblings, Darlene Hawes (Ronnie Langille) of Halifax, June Broyden of Halifax, Lavone "Bonnie" Cluney of Halifax, Ethel Brine of Halifax, Terry Publicover (Ferne Comeau) of Lower Sackville and Ingles Publicover of Halifax; his granddaughter Savannah Hawes; his great grandchild Divine; and his nephew Terry Hawes. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
