He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Isaac and Mary Jane Isaac (Paul); and his brothers, Christopher and Gerrard. He is survived by: his sister Mary Ann of Waycobah.

Due to Covid restrictions, no visitation or funeral will take place at this time. When Covid restrictions are lifted, a "Celebration of Life" for "Our Willie", will take place at the Mi'kmaw Native Friendship Centre, and details will be posted to the website and Facebook page.
