He was predeceased by: his wife Olive Rose; his son Danny Poole; his parents, William Sylvester and Helene Poole; his brother Fred Poole; and his son-in-law Sam Watson.
He is survived by: his close friend Marg Frier of Bridgewater; his children, Stephen (Maria), Laura, Murray Poole (Kathy) of Nova Scotia and Marjorie Watson of Ontario; his former wife Aileen Poole; and his daughter-in-law Susan Poole. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the J. A. Snow Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
