He was predeceased by: his parents, Hing Fook Hum (Jim) and Suey Soong Yee; and his wife Lai Yok Yan. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Hum (Wei Hong), Carolyn Hum (Stephen Cholakis), Marolyn Hum, Steward Hum (Diane Sutherland), Nancy Hum (Joel Balbosa) and Cathy Hum (Oliver Nguan); and his grandchildren, Laura Hum, Christopher Hum, Aron Hufner, Stephanie Hum, Sonya Hum, Sebastian Hum, Chelsea Balbosa, Amy Balbosa, Zoe Balbosa, Oscar Nguan and Charlie Nguan. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, extended family, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Ja Snow Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM.
