We announce the death of Winnifred May Rodrigues of Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 18, 2026, at the age of 99. Winnifred will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyril Washington Bishop and Miriam Rosalie Bishop (Collings); her former husband Augustus; and her son Larry. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda (Wes) and Lita (Mark); her grandchildren, Josh, Vanessa, Carlye, Ryan, Amy, Derek (Michelle), Maria and Ben (Corinne); her great grandchildren, Oliver and Lincoln; her nieces and nephews, Ellen, Joanne, Carolann, Heather, Thia, Angela, Tom, Douglas, Jody and James; her husband Gus; Bob (Gus).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dartmouth Funeral Home (29 Queen St, Dartmouth, NS B2Y1E9). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
