He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter and Marie; and his siblings, Elizabeth and Claude. He is survived by: his wife Sonia (Beaini); his children, Mireille Savoie (Leo), Peter Abi Khattar (Trina), Nancy Thomas (Robert), Sylvia Mutch (Peter) and Steve Abi Khattar (Odette); and his siblings, Amal Beaini (Sessine), Emile (Jamila), Edward (Aziza), Elias (Rosette), Tony (Christine) and Claudette Michael (David).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada and to Our Lady of Lebanon Church.
