She was predeceased by: her parent Thomas Walker; her daughter Elizabeth McKenzie; her brother Ivor Walker; and her sister-in-law May Walker. She is survived by: her parent Clare Walker (Smith); her spouse Baptist Minister (Earl Ward); her daughter Sandra of Tucson; her nieces, Patricia, Lyn and Cindy; her son-in-law Grey McKenzie; her grandchildren, Lisa, Sarah, Sieta, Geoffrey and Jennifer; and her great grandchildren, Brandon, Brooke, Warren, Carson, Mikayla, Josh, Ella, Zachary and Sophie.

Memorial donations may be made to Victoria Hall Society, First Baptist Church, Halifax, and the Ecology Action Centre.
